Schouten Products,a full subsidiary of the the Dutch Royal Schouten Group NV is building a new plant for the production of SoyLife® soy germ isoflavone concentrates, health ingredients marketed by subsidiaries SoyLife Nederland BV and Schouten USA, Inc. and their distributors. The company claims that the extention to the existing SoyLife plant, Poederooijen the Netherlands, in is in response to the increasing market demand for natural soy germ isoflavone concentrates and will allow Schouten to strengthen its position in the market for natural soy germ concentrates. The new factory will guarantee the continuity of the supply of Identity Preserved, non-GMO SoyLife. The new plant is expected to be operational by December 2001. Derived exclusively from the soy germ, SoyLife is a concentration of the germ's natural isoflavones, proteins, oligosaccharides, vitamin K, folic acid, essential fatty acids and other nutrients.
