Dutch food group Wessanen NV said on Wednesday it had agreed to buy German health food company Corposan Holding .Wessanen did not disclose how much it would pay for Corposan, maker of Tartex vegetarian spread, but said the takeover would be paid for in cash and would contribute immediately to earnings per share. Corposan had a 2000 turnover of around 100 million marks ($43.44 million), Wessanen said. The deal is expected to be completed in July. In October, Wessanen said it planned to sell its dairy activities in Europe and the U.S. and was seeking takeovers to focus on the health food market. Source: Reuters
