B2eMarkets, Inc. announced the expansion of a pilot program with Kraft Foods North America, Inc.

On August 13, the American company providing sourcing applications B2eMarkets, Inc. announced the expansion of a pilot program with Kraft Foods North America, Inc. (KFNA), the American branded food and beverages company. The program, initiated in September 2000, is being extended to allow KFNA's continued use of the B2eNegotiation™ solution from B2eMarkets as one of KFNA's tools in creating total cost-based requests for quotes and managing multi-round public and private eNegotiations. "B2eMarkets' self-service strategic sourcing complements KFNA's program to implement eSourcing methodologies, tools, and technologies," said Marcia Glenn, vice president of procurement strategy and eProcurement for KFNA. "Implementing the B2eNegotiation solution provides a knowledge-based execution application to expand upon KFNA's strategic sourcing expertise," said Orville Bailey, B2eMarkets' CEO and co- founder.
