Pernod restructures polish vodka

Polish company Polmos Poznan is to become a direct subsidiary of the Pernod Ricard group Wyborowa SA, following Pernod's recent acquisition of the vodka company.

Polish company Polmos Poznan is to become a direct subsidiary of the Pernod Ricard group Wyborowa SA, following Pernod's recent acquisition of the vodka company. The new subsidiary is in charge of all Pernod Ricard's Spirits and Wine activities in Poland. All the activities and employees of Polmos Poznan (production and marketing in Poland of the ``wodkas(a)'' Wyborowa, Lodowa et Premium), of Agros Trading (export of wodkas) and of PR Polska (distribution within Poland of brands imported by the Group) come under Wyborowa SA. Wyborowa SA will be responsible for developing the marketing policy of its brand throughout the world, in close collaboration with the companies across the Group in charge of its distribution in each market. The other agri-food businesses in Poland, notably the fruit juices Fortuna, Karotka, Tarczyn and the Lowicz jams, are retained within the company Agros.
