A seminar dedicated to the implications of QUID Legislation on food enforcement policy, analytical testing regimes and the responsibilities of food manufacturers and retailers will take place in London this month.
The seminar, QUID Food Labelling and Enforcement, will focus on transparency across Europe and will look at case studies from the perspective of the food manufacturer and the enforcement analyst.
The meeting is aimed at individuals in the food industry who have responsibilities for complying with, enforcing or advising on QUID legislation. This includes personnel working within food retailing, manufacturing and importing, in particular technical managers, regulatory affairs managers, and food laboratory managers.
Speakers at the conference will include Luis Gonzáles Vaqué, Adviser, Directorate General for Internal Markets, European Commission and Matthew Carden from the food labelling division of the UK's Food Standards Agency.
The seminar will be held on 19 February 2002 at theKensington Park Hotel, London and is run by the Management Forum,Guildford, Surrey, UK.
