US-based ADM Specialty Ingredients is restructuring its sales and
marketing organisation "to better serve customer needs for
comprehensive and innovative food ingredients".

US-based ADM Specialty Ingredients is restructuring its sales and marketing organisation "to better serve customer needs for comprehensive and innovative food ingredients"​.

The division has organised is sales and marketing units into several key areas: meats; nutrition; baking, cereals & snacks; beverages; confectionery; pharmaceutical; personal care; industrial; and food processing.

"Organising around key industry markets will allow Specialty Ingredients to better understand customer needs and provide product solutions from its extensive portfolio and further represent ADM​'s commitment to creating value for our customers,"​ said Larry Cunningham, ADM senior vice president, corporate affairs.

ADM Specialty Ingredient products include soy proteins, lecithin and monoglycerides, citric acid, xanthan gum, sorbitol, lactic acid, edible beans, emulsifiers and bakery mixes.

Archer Daniels Midland is one of the world's largest processors of soybeans, corn, wheat and cocoa, as well as a leading supplier of soy meal and oil, ethanol, high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) and flour. In addition, ADM is building a position in such value-added products as specialty food ingredients, bioproducts and nutraceuticals.
