Ivex achieves ISO certification

Ivex Packaging's UK division has achieved an ISO certification after implementing a range of improvements at its production facility.

Ivex Packaging's UK division, part of the Reynold's FoodPackaging group owned by the aluminium giant, Alcoa, has achieved aISO certification after implementing a range of improvements at its production facility.

The British Retailers Consortium/Institute of Packaging Standard ISO 9000:20 was awarded earlier this monthIvex, which is currently one of the leading thermoformers of standard and bespoke products for the food and drinks industry, had improved aspects of its business to ensure that its customer base received a personal service thatmeets individual needs.

According to the company, the attainment of the two standards demonstrated demonstration its committment to continuous improvement across all businessimensions, including safety and efficiency at its production facilities, as well as the raising of standards in terms of product quality and safety.
