The Danish ingredients firm has this year been ranked at number 14 for its climate change disclosure, internal data management and understanding of climate change related issues affecting the company.
The index comprises the top 10 per cent companies in the Nordic 200, based on their responses to this year’s questionnaire on greenhouse gas emissions, emissions reduction targets and risks and opportunities associated with climate change.
CEO Tom Knutzen said: “We take pride in reporting openly and honestly about our consumption and emissions. We will not be able to deal constructively with the risks and opportunities of climate change both globally and for each of our businesses until we have the specific data.”
