The companies 15 boxed cereal varieties will now carry a Non-GMO Verification mark, meaning products contain no genetically modified organisms.
Rob Goluba, director of marketing for Peace Cereal said: “This verification and the addition of the Non-GMO Project Verification mark on each Peace Cereal carton provide a recognizable and trusted tool for consumers to ensure they are getting the integrity and quality of ingredients they expect."
The Non-GMO Project is a non-profit third party certification programme that tests whether products are free from genetically modified ingredients.
Peace Cereal expects the packaging carrying the new mark to appear on store shelves at the beginning of summer.
