Food and drink producers can test their preparedness for a crisis during ‘Crisis Management in the Food Industry’, on 6 March in London, organized by The Food and Drink Federation (FDF).
Speakers include Stephen Humphreys, director of communications, FSA, Paul Dobson, central technical director, Premier Foods, Keith Beech, director, Nexus Communications, Richard Matthews, partner, Eversheds LLP and David Gregory, risk management executive, Willis.
Delegates will hear how to strengthen their crisis management strategies, receive guidance on how incidents unfold and on actions to safeguard their businesses and maintain consumer confidence during and after a crisis.
Barbara Gallani, director of regulation, science and health at FDF, said: “Any supply chain, no matter how simple or complex, can present risks that need to be adequately managed.
“In case of a crisis, whether caused by error, malice or misfortune, an effective and well planned response will enhance trust in your brand rather than damaging it.”
