Vitafoods Live! debates to take aim at key industry issues
From infant formula, to additives, protein, medical foods and omega-3 issues, our team of expert journalists will be taking aim at the most important and topical issues for the global food and nutrition industry at the Vitafoods Live! debate theatre next week.

Vitafoods Live! is a brand new debating theatre on the show floor of the Vitafoods conference and expo. Led by our team of expert editors and journalists, six dynamic debates that are central to some of the biggest industry issues and trends will be taking place over three days in Geneva.

The debates​ will cover topics including omega-3, cocoa flavanols, protein, infant formula, natural and healthy bakery, and medical foods, and will be broadcast over the show floor, the Vitafoods website and later on William Reed Business Media outlets.

And of course you can take a seat and watch it all happen at the Vitafoods Live!​ theatre (Stand #25035).

Tuesday 6th May

The future of infant formula (11:30 - 13:00). Chaired by Mark Astley of DairyReporter.

Cocoa flavanol science and the potential for better-for-you chocolate (14:30 - 16:00). Chaired by Oliver Nieburg of ConfectioneryNews.

Wednesday 7th May

The future of natural and healthy bakery innovation: bye-bye additives? ( 11:30 - 13:00). Chaired by Kacey Culliney of BakeryandSnacks.

Omega-3: falling star or just re-orbiting? (14:30 - 16:00). Chaired by Hank Schultz of NutraIngredients-USA.

Thursday 8th May

Mainstream nutrition: protein for the mass market? (11:30 - 13:00). Chaired by Nathan Gray of FoodNavigator.

The rise of medical foods (13:30 - 15:00). Chaired by Shane Starling of NutraIngredients.
