Ecolab develops foam technology for food and beverage hygiene
The foam can be used in food processing facilities to clean production lines and open places like floors and tables, and also in dairies and beverage production facilities.
Jerome Charton, VP and general manager, Ecolab said: “The new Hybrid equipment line delivers the cleaning performance, durability and safety features to meet the specific needs of our food and beverage customers.”
Hybrid uses Nilfisk food’s corona technology, a circular air compression technology that mixes water, air and cleaning solutions to produce foam.
The equipment is designed to handle a variety of foam applications, including direct injection or pre-diluted chemicals, fixed or variable product metering and the dispensing of multiple cleaning solutions.
Ecolab says Hybrid technology has been extensively tested in the field and is designed to handle years of use.
“The robust, tamper-proof, closed hygienic design is simple to operate, easy to service and comes with a three-year warranty,” Charton said.
Ecolab are based in Minnesota and provide water, hygiene and energy technologies to the food and beverage, hospitality, healthcare and industrial industries.
