Among them is German manufacturer Sandvik Process Systems, which reported it will exhibit its range of steel belts for food manufacturers.
"Applications range from simple conveying systems, where durability and compliance with good manufacturing practice/FDA standards are key to operations where the thermal properties of a steel belt – such as the ability to conduct heat and operate in extreme temperatures – are also important, including freezing, cooling, drying, cooking or baking," Sandvik said.
The company said it would also look at solutions with customers, including the possibility of a new ‘clean conveyor’, design based on stainless steel belt technology and super-mirror polished belts for casting high-gloss packaging foils and films.
The exhibition, the biggest of its kind in the Middle East, Africa and the Indian Sub-Continent, is to take place between 9-11 November 2014.
