Nactis Flavours to acquire Robertet Savoury

French flavour firm Nactis Flavours has signed an agreement to acquire Belgian flavours company Robertet Savoury.

Robertet Savoury is the savoury flavours arm of flavours and fragrance company Groupe Robertet and specialises in process flavours (Maillard flavours), and hydrolysed vegetable protein for soups, sauces, meats, condiments and ready meals.

Nactis said the acquisition would open new markets for its customers as it gains access to a wider range of raw materials for savoury flavours.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed, although the company said it was assisted by €10m it raised in November from MML Capital, which bought a 20% stake in Nactis.
