DuPont Nutrition & Health will be focusing on catering for the changing tastes of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) consumers as it presents at Gulfood Manufacturing 2015.

It will be demonstrating solutions for the meat, dairy, bakery and beverage industries at the trade show later this month, that focus on trends such as convenience and health.

“The GCC has one of the most prosperous and demanding consumer populations in the world,” said Mohamed Nawar, group sales manager, DuPont Nutrition & Health. “Trends such as a growing middle class and population of 50% aged under 25 present unique opportunities for food manufacturers.

“With one of the broadest portfolios of food ingredients and solutions, we can provide new cost-efficient solutions to traditional Middle East products as well as growing sectors such as healthy foods and beverages and gluten-free products,” added Mohamed. “And with a growing GCC workforce increasing the market for convenience foods, we will be highlighting our cost-efficient ingredient solutions in this sector. What’s more, thriving youth-driven products like pizza showcase our expertise and strengths across bakery, dairy, culinary toppings and meat-free solutions.”

DuPont also will be contributing to the Food & Beverage Innovation Forum with a Conference and Discussion panel on 28th October at 14:50. This will feature Javier Ruiz Pérez, Beverages application specialist, who will speak on ‘Defining The Next Generation of Ingredients.’ On 29th October, Greg Paul, DuPont global marketing director for Consumer Segments, will join the discussion on ‘Functional Beverage Revolution - Defining the New Frontier.’

Gulfood Manufacturing 2015 takes place 27-29 October at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
