The firm said the portfolio of Deb Stoko pre-work creams, hand cleansers and after-work restore creams have been formulated to ensure employees maintain hygiene standards, and to minimise risks of skin disease and stress that are common in food manufacturing and production environments.
With workers handling food products continuously throughout the day, they must be provided with effective antibacterial hand cleansing and sanitising products to prevent contamination, said Deb.
Products from the range include Stokoderm Aqua PURE – a pre-work cream effective against water based contaminants and wet working environments, OxyBAC – antimicrobial foam hand cleanser containing Accelerated Hydrogen Peroxide antibacterial agent and InstantFOAM Complete – hand sanitising foam that kills 99.999% of common germs.
Deb provides employers and employees with training and education on occupational skin care products to encourage stakeholder buy-in on an issue that is largely overlooked within the food manufacturing sector.
Paul Jakeway, marketing director at Deb UK, said occupational skin disease affects an organisation’s efficiency and the health and well-being of employees.
“The products and usage programme address the skin care requirements of all end users. They are essential for effective skin health and in reducing the risk of occupational skin disease.”
Deb comprises 21 companies operating in 16 countries, with products sold in more than 100 countries.
