FQN hits the road to bring you food safety and quality news
We are attending the Society of Food Hygiene & Technology (SOFHT) event ‘Allergens – Get it right first time, every time’ on 10 February in Stratford-Upon-Avon and the NSF International EMEA conference in London the day after.
FQN is attending, and a media partner of, the Global Food Safety Conference 2016 in Berlin, from 29 February – 3 March.
Speakers at the SOFHT event include Michael Walker, a former Public Analyst, who has his own consultancy company from which he acts as Consultant Referee Analyst in the Laboratory of the Government Chemist; Chris Wilkinson, trading standards officer/team leader for Salford City Council responsible for food standards enforcement and Peter Littleton, technical director of Klenzan.
Neogen, Genon Laboratories, 3M, RSSL, Bio-Check, Sealed Air Food Care and Vikan are among the exhibitors.
At the NSF conference, presenters include Francoise Dorcier, criminal intelligence officer at Interpol, Guy Poppy, chief scientific adviser at the Food Standards Agency, Jude Mason, director, consulting and technical services at NSF International and Dominic Watkins, partner at DWF law firm.
The Global Food Safety Conference is expected to welcome more than 800 food safety professionals from 60 countries in Berlin.
Speakers include Anthony Huggett, VP, head of quality management at Nestlé, Switzerland, Neil Marshall, global director, quality and food safety strategy, policy and programs at The Coca-Cola Company, USA, Sebastian Hielm, senior food standards officer, Joint FAO/WHO Food Standards Programme, Italy and Hugo Gutierrez, VP quality and regulatory compliance at the Hershey Company, USA.
BioMérieux, Fera, DNV-GL, Ecolab, Intertek, TÜV SÜD, SGS, GS1, LRQA, IFS Food, Bureau Veritas and BRC Global Standards are a selection of exhibitors.
