Büchi boosts chromatography offering
The Reveleris Flash Chromatography Systems, GraceResolv and Alltech ELSD 3300 brands will now be offered globally by Büchi under its chromatography portfolio.
The brands are developed and produced in Deerfield, Illinois. The site will be retained and 20 employees of Grace will work for Büchi.
Thomas Liner, CEO of Büchi Group, said the deal expands its offerings in the segment.
"This opportunity is perfectly aligned with our strategy to invest in preparative chromatography and complete our portfolio of solutions for drug discovery and development."
The purification products include the Reveleris Prep Purification System, which performs flash chromatography and preparative LC on a single system; the Reveleris X2 Flash Chromatography System, the first flash technology with integrated ELS, UV, and UV-Vis detection; and Flash Cartridges, which offer the purification chemists purity and recovery of target molecules.
They are used in industries including pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, natural products, carbohydrates, nutraceuticals, peptides, and proteins.
