Tapas: the consortium will focus on developing protein-rich foods
Three Dutch food firms have joined forces with a research company to create a consortium focused on developing protein-rich foods.

Royal FrieslandCampina, Ruitenberg Ingredients and Sonac have teamed up with innovation company Nizo to tackle the increasing demand for protein worldwide.

Tapas consortium

The consortium, called Tapas, will combine expertise from different angles.

Royal FrieslandCampina will offer dairy insight, Ruitenberg will bring knowledge in plant-based proteins, and Sonac will provide expertise in functional proteins.
