The first deal would see UNIDO help set up EFSA which was established with the Food Safety Authority Act, according to a government information portal.
It was inked by Giovanna Ceglie, director of the regional office of UNIDO and Hussein Mansour, head of national food safety agency-management unit at the Trade and Industry Ministry.
The second signed by Ceglie and Ater Hannoura, board chairman of the Egyptian Countryside Development Company would see the UN collaborate on the 1.5m feddans project.
