Arkivum partners with Thermo Fisher Scientific on data safeguarding
Thermo Fisher Scientific’s European customers will have another option to manage life science data that is compliant with regulatory and governance requirements.
Arkivum provides big data preservation and archiving of terabytes or petabytes of data for varied retention periods.
Guy Yaniv, CEO of Arkivum, said compliance with regulatory requirements and internal best practices is a major and growing challenge.

Arkivum’s Archive as a Service is based on digital archive management technology developed in the AVATAR-m project.
The firm was spun out of the IT Innovation Centre at the University of Southampton.
