Ozo wants to make effective hygiene simpler to achieve
Customers make eloclear onsite using the elosystem which turns food grade salt and water into a cleaner and biocide.
Electrolysed water is produced in a process using patented flow cell technology without the need for a membrane.
Ozo said in field trials it delivered greater microbial control and a more consistent disinfection result than traditional hot water, detergents and terminal sanitisers.
Production of eloclear is monitored and controlled using sensors; data recording and monitoring.
Ozo analyzes customer site data to detect production issues and ensure eloclear is effective at the point of use.
Rowan Gardner, CEO of Ozo Innovations, said the objective was to make effective hygiene simpler to achieve for the food industry.
“Currently, companies invest significant time and resources deep cleaning food facilities. Switching a hot water based multistep hygiene process for a simple cold eloclear process is measurably more energy and time efficient."
The firm helps customers reduce time spent on hygiene, whilst improving deep cleaning and disinfection standards.
It has been supported by Innovate UK grants that have co-funded initial development of its intellectual property.
