Anton Paar sets sights on 20% revenue growth

Anton Paar USA is targeting a 20% increase in revenue in 2018.

The manufacturer of laboratory instruments and process measurement systems will also open regional sales and service hubs in Los Angeles and Houston.

These sites will manage the Western and Southern regions while the US headquarters will remain in Ashland.

Anton Paar launched a call for applicants to fill positions from sales engineers and product specialists to a job coordinating the company’s Mobile Lab – the show and live demonstration vehicle visiting breweries, conferences, universities and private businesses across the country.

Reinhard Eberl, CEO, said: “A 5% increase will be accomplished via product line acquisition and the rest will be the result of additional hires and a new, regionalized strategy that will help deliver more localized services to the Western and Southern regions of the country.

“These new regional sales and service hubs will allow Anton Paar to meet new and existing client needs with more specialized support and product solution options.”

The firm also helped open a training lab at Versuchs- und Lehranstalt für Brauerei (VLB) the Research and Teaching Institute for Brewing in Berlin.

The Anton Paar training laboratory is part of the new institute building of VLB, a competence center for the brewing, malting and beverage industry.

Heuft Systemtechnik, Siemens and Micro Matic also provided hardware for the training labs.

Dr Josef Fontaine, VLB's MD, said: "Our goal is to continue to educate highly trained graduates for the national and international brewing and beverage industry as well as the associated supply industry.”
