Altmann Analytik GmbH & Co. KG will launch a series of storage systems at Analytica April 10-13, 2018.

The specialty retailer for chromatography and laboratory supplies said a storage cabinet can save budget in the lab and ensure a clean and tidy work environment.

Part of the product series is the storage cabinet for high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and gas chromatography (GC) columns.

It offers a compact way to stow separation and capillary columns and can be customized. It has foam troughs with space for up to 30 HPLC or five GC columns and can be expanded with an additional insert tray, which provides storage space for laboratory parts.

Stackable steel housing protects sensitive columns from damage, contamination or loss - ensuring reproducible test results and consistent performance.

The firm added poor storage of sensitive consumables such as HPLC columns may be related to lower column performance, faster wear and excessive consumption.
