Spectro and Bernd Kraft cooperation agreement
Every customer from Germany, Austria and Switzerland will receive a starter set of standard solutions provided by Bernd Kraft when purchasing a Spectro inductively coupled plasma (ICP) spectrometer.
Spectro, a unit of the Materials Analysis Division of Ametek, is a provider of analytical instruments in optical emission and X-ray fluorescence spectrometry for elemental analysis in different applications.
Dr Christoph Mätzig, CEO of Spectro, said: “We are delighted to have gained Bernd Kraft, a high-profile partner who is able to supply our customers with standard solutions of the highest quality.”
The firms said by using the ready-to-use and certified multi-element standards, customers can be certain their analysis devices are optimally adjusted from the start for correct analysis results.
They added calibration errors caused by out-of-date or contaminated standard solutions will be eliminated.
An advantage for accredited labs regularly audited by external auditors is that proper device calibration can be documented by product certificates to meet their requirements.
Bernd Kraft uses a Spectro Arcos MultiView ICP-OES analyzer to ensure quality of lab products.
The firm’s portfolio includes standards for chemical analytics, measurement and buffer solutions, reagents for analytical instruments and general lab chemicals.
“The cooperation agreement is the logical consequence of the good collaboration between two first-class companies. Our experience has shown that constructive and cooperative teamwork brings success for all parties,” said Thomas Brunner, CEO of Bernd Kraft.
Joint seminars and webinars by the firms are planned on ICP-OES analyses in the future.
