Danish food technology to showcase in Russia
The group said that forecasts have shown there will be a fourfold increase in the production of machinery and equipment in Russia by 2025.
Danish Food Tech Group, a network of Danish suppliers of food processing equipment, solutions and food technology, said it would be organising a Pavilion of Denmark at AgroProdMash 2018 to meet the Russian demands.
“The Danish food industry has always demanded the best food technology solutions. This has given Danish suppliers the necessary skills to deliver world-class quality, absolute efficiency and top standard food safety within pork, meat, dairy and poultry,” said Heidi Ravn, head of Danish Food Tech Group.
“The Danish companies exhibiting at AgroProdMash have in-depth experience and knowledge of Russian market demands. Accordingly, the suppliers are going to Moscow to support their local agents and distributors, as well as being updated on new projects and meeting potential customers.”
One of the exhibitors at the Pavilion of Denmark is DANA-Technology. The company specialises in designing, manufacturing and installing pre-preparation and processing solutions within the meat, poultry, fish and pet food industries.
“By automating the processing equipment and packaging lines, food manufacturers can increase production efficiency, reduce manual labour costs and avoid heavy lifting for the operating personnel, which has become more important in Russia because of the need to becoming self-sufficient,” said Allan Eskildsen, sales manager at DANA-Technology.
Other exhibitors include DSI Freezing & Handling, Glud & Marstrand A/S and HAS Systems ApS.
AgroProdMash 2018 is to run in Moscow, Russia on 8-10 October 2018.
