French brand Cibovino has released a range of ‘aperitif’ boxes that pairs wines with snacks.

The range includes smaller boxes with wine tastings, comprising of of three 20 ml red white bottles. Larger offerings may include a 750 ml bottle of red, white or rosé, paired with thyme and lemon popcorn, and grilled sesame chickpeas.

Another version also includes meat paté, cured meat, and access to a music playlist for the complete ‘aperitif’ experience.

“We blindly taste wines to avoid prejudices due to the regional origin of the wine,” explained Cibovino founder Yann Siaudeau.

“Several criteria are taken into accounting, including the smell, the taste, and how it looks. An average is calculated, and we keep only those that have obtained at least 75/100.”

The degustation boxes vary in size and price, ranging between €16 and €39.
