Snacks start-up Real Handful has announced a new national listing for its three Craft Baked Peanut products, as well as its Super Sweet & Salty Trail Mix.
The Craft Baked Nuts range (available in 70g packs for an RRP of £1) is made from oven baked Hi-Oleic Argentinian peanuts, and available in three flavours: Sea Salted, Salt & Vinegar, and a new SKU: Smoky BBQ.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to be launching an exclusive 70g pack size of our latest launch for Morrison’s. We recognise the incredible benefits that are inherent in snacking on nuts, veggies and pulses and are excited to be challenging some of the savoury snacking norms by creating and packaging these new ranges differently,” said Real Handful founder Joe Taylor.
“The smaller pack size we’ve created will sit on the gondola end at a hugely competitive price point for the next 12 months. We can’t wait to hear what our Morrison’s customers think.”

A new food brand is hitting the UK: Notorious Nooch Co has launched Smoky Bacon and Cheesy Immature flavoured nutritional yeast into retail.
According to Nororious Nooch Co, the two SKUs deliver ‘big on flavour, small on ingredients’. The yeast flakes are toasted to ‘bring out their natural intensity’, and each product contains fewer than five ingredients.
The Cheesy Immature Nooch, for example, is made from yeast flakes, flavouring, and anti-caking agent. “Sprinkle it in anything you would normally put cheese in,” advises the company. “Try it on your pizza, pasta, popcorn or rice. Throw it on roast spuds or use it to make a delicious dairy-free mac and cheese.”
The Smoky Bacon Nooch is made from the same ingredients, with added smoke flavouring. “Sprinkle it on anything that needs a smoky kick,” says the brand. “Chuck it on chips, wings, spuds or soup. Top your greens or take your carbonara sauce to the next level.”
Both flavours have an RRP of £3.99 for a 100g pack, and are available direct to consumer, or via YoungVegans Superstore and Amazon.

UK vitamin company Nourished, which makes 3D printed, customisable gummies for adults, is expanding into vitamins for kids.
Parents are asked to fill out a quick online quiz with questions about their child’s lifestyle, including questions about screen time, diet, and physical exercise. The personalised, sugar-free vitamin is sent to their door.
“The inspiration for our new Nourished Kids line comes from the little ones in my own life – my three wonderful step kids. They’re all so different and it really made it clear to me that just like adults, kids need unique and personalised nutrition too,” said Nourished founder and CEO Melissa Snover.
The Nourished Kids stack contains a blend of essential vitamins and minerals, including vegan Vitae-algae D3, vitamin B12, and iron. Additional ingredients, chosen based on the information gathered during the consultation, could include tart cherry (to support healthy sleep patterns, immunity and cognitive brain function), K2 Vital Delta (to contribute to the maintenance of healthy bones), beetroot (to support good heart health), and lycopene (for healthy eyes, heart and bones).
Nourished Kids personalised gummy vitamins are available online at a price of £27.99 for a one-month’s supply.

UK brand Hunter & Gather is expanding its condiments range with keto and paleo dressings. The new line is low carb, gluten-free, and dairy-free.
Hunter & Gather’s 100% Olive Oil Greek Dressing and 100% Olive Oil Ranch Dressing are made from olive oil, lemon juice, herbs and vinegar. This, says the brand, results in “dressings that are tangy and delicious yet all natural and free-from added sugar, grains, seeds oils and chemical preservatives that are commonly found in dressings, making them suitable for Paleo, Keto, Low Carb, Gluten-Free and Dairy-Free diets”.
With sales of dressings up by £2.3m, co-founder Amy Moring says it is the ‘right time’ for Hunter & Gather to enter the category. “For too long dressings have been neglected in terms of innovation, but what you drizzle on your food is just as important as the food itself.”
Hunter & Gather is also launching a limited edition 100% Olive Oil & Lemon Mayonnaise.
“Our latest product launches mark the start of an exciting period of growth for the business and a huge step forwards for real food products,” Moring continued. “The brand is primed to do big things and we genuinely believe we are on course to change the health of the nation.”
The new dressings are sold in 250g bottles, with an RRP of £4.49. The 175g jar of limited edition mayonnaise has an RRP of £4.99.

Lovenature Organic is rolling out a line of organic, gluten-free flours, syrups, and seeds into retail across Europe.
The 15 SKUs range from the slightly more conventional chickpea, oat, buckwheat, and coconut flour, to lesser known varieties including cassava flour. The latter – suitable for use in desserts, cookies, pancakes, and bread – is made from the cassava root, grown in volcanic soil in Indonesia.
Lovenature Organic is also selling Ugandan and Paraguayan chia seeds, cocoa, Panela sugar, and Manela syrup.
All offerings are gluten-free, which is good timing given the rise of the global free-from food market, noted the firm. According to Mordor Intelligence, this market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 9.5% during the forecast period 2020-2025.
Lovenature Organic says it has a ‘proactive approach’ when it comes to regenerative farming. Through direct partnerships with farmers, the company is ‘actively supporting’ a sustainable agricultural system that ‘gives back to the environment and indigenous communities’.
“We believe that producing organic ingredients in an artisan way creates a sustainable business model that gives back to communities and benefits the ecosystem as a whole,” said CEO Frank Arrigazzi.
“We want to go back to the way nature intended. We source and produce the best quality of organic dried ingredients directly from origin.”
