A rash of salmonella outbreaks have been reported across the UK. And according to one leading bacteriologist, the source of these outbreaks is probably food-based.

Walkers tops UK brand sales
Health concerns appear to take a back seat when it comes to British snack habits: Walkers crisps was by far the biggest UK grocery brand last year. Premium bread brands, Diet Coke and its 'full-fat'parent, and Nescafé also featured in the top ten.
