European Palm Oil Alliance

The European Palm Oil Alliance is a business initiative of palm oil refiners and producers. We believe that responsibly produced palm oil is a key ingredient for food, feed and home and personal care products, to help feed and nurture the world, to help protect biodiversity and improve socio-economic development and overall contributes to achieving the UN SDGs.

EPOA will push for sustainable palm oil market transformation in Europe and beyond, and will create a positive image of palm oil used in food, feed and home and personal care products.

We strive for a world in which sustainable palm oil is recognized as a high-quality vegetable oil that fits in a responsible lifestyle and a nutritionally balanced diet.

Current participants of the European Palm Oil Alliance are Bunge Loders Croklaan,  Cargill, Fedepalma, MVO - The Netherlands Oils and Fats Industry, Olenex, and Sime Darby Oils. All our members commit to supply certified sustainable palm oil* in Europe and support a fully traceable NDPE (‘No Deforestation, No Peatland and No Exploitation’) supply chain.
