What’s better than chocolate macaroons? Double chocolate macaroons, of course! That’s the view of Ecotone-owned Mrs Crimble’s, the gluten-free baker brand, which makes the offering from Belgian chocolate and chocolate flavoured coating.
“With the new Double Choc Macaroons, we wanted to create an indulgent chocolate cake built on the delicious coconut taste and texture that our macaroons are known for,” explained Adele Ward, marketing director at Ecotone UK.
“Knowing how well the Caramel Macaroons have performed in Asda, we’re confident this new flavour will equally have strong shopper appeal.”
Mrs Crimble’s Double Choc Macaroons are launching into Asda stores today across the UK, with a promotional price of £1.40. The standard RRP is £1.80.
